Today, we were having our Sports for the 1st and 2nd periods. after that, we supposed to go back to class to have our ADD Maths lessons. However, some of us still wished to have more practices on high jump,so, we stayed there for a while.
My add maths teacher was waiting some of us to come back for 25 minutes. She sat at the corner until all of us have come back. She walked to the middle and asked us what was the time now. We knew she was angry but she didn't really put it on her face. and then, she asked, " Do you line up before going anyway?" We shook our heads. " Do you respect yourself?" she asked again. I was confused, what was it to do with the respect ??!!! " If you respect yourself, then other people will know how to respect you and why your parents send you to school but not just send you to tuition centres? " The classroom was silence. " Because the school has discipline " Uh-huh, she has the point. Then, she picked up a white chalk and drew two roads. one with lines and another one without any line.
She asked us, " If you drive on the
road, which road do you pick? One you can drive freely but at great risk another one the road has shown you where you should go, no freedom at all. "
We picked the second road.
" Why we need boundaries? Why we need disciplines ? You know we cannot have too much freedom because we will lose control and turn out to be someone with bad personalities just because we don't know what is good or bad ! "
" just like the roads when you are given the chance to drive on the 1st road, will you know it is dangerous ? Will you know the car suddenly comes out and knocks you down ? or you knock the pedestrian? it applies in our life too. "
" Do you know why the girls in college can simply give their virginity to the boys ? "
" I have a friend, she met a guy during her 3rd year in University..They loved each other so they stayed together and rent a house. Then, she thought the guy was her one and only, so one day the guy was asking her to have sex with him. She agreed because she wanted to show her love to him and she thought that's no difference to have sex with him before marriage or after because in her mind she thought she will become his wife, what's wrong to give her virginity to him? but years later, they graduated and both found the jobs. The guy went out with other girls and his girlfriend was jealous and dislike that. They always quarreled over money and boy-girl stuffs. The boy didn't willing to pay anything for the house(they bought a house)... at last, they broke up. The girl was sad for many years and very resist to love. One day, she met her true love and they got married because the man said he wont mind she wasn't a virgin anymore.
after they get married for a few years, they quarreled and her husband shouted, "Who you think you are, don't forget you aren't a virgin when you married me !" See... that's man. Don't say everyone isn't the same. majority of the men very care about this virginity. They want their wives only belong to them but not they own the abandon women. They want to keep the best themselves. For guys, they didn't lose their virginity or what, because there's no mark left on their bodies. They can always tell their girlfriends, " this is my first time." but not for girls. There's no equivalent trade in this issue. Maybe some of you not agree with that, but it's true.
So girls, don't think your boyfriend is your one & only in your life because you may lose your mind and do something you regret for whole life. But but but it doesn't mean you shouldn't be serious in your relationship.. you have to take the balance. set the boundaries for yourselves, don't step over it ! Plus, the friend asked my teacher to tell the girls in school, "Don't have sex with anyone until you get married !"
SPM is just a passport for you to go for higher level in studies. When you step into this community, you must know how to co-operate with other people, how to interact, how to speak, how to behave and these.... reflect what kind of person you are. A friend he can score many A's in his exams from primary Year 1 until Form 5.. he can even get the 1st class honor in his Degree.Eventually, he was hired by a big company. his salary was 6 digits per month. It's a high pay. but slowly, he found that he couldn't work with other people. the people hate him. And he thought everyone was jealous over him or went mad..so he resigned his job. He became a lecturer in University. WHY ? because lecturer doesn't need any interaction with other people. he just needs to speak and gives resignment to his students. So, when someone can't communicate with other people.. it's useless eventhough you are a top scorer. Another case, he is a top scorer too, I called him Mr. X. He molest the girls. He was mancho.
SO WHAT ? He was rich.
SO WHAT? He was handsome.
SO WHAT ? he was good in his studies.
SO WHAT? He told a girl, every girl wants him but that particular girl rejected him. He was frustrated maybe he couldn't get what he wanted. so he retaliated. He always razzing that girl, discriminate her. He has such a gross behavior. YES! In study he was the top, the marvelous one, In life, He was sucked and flunked. GIRLS ! don't wince when you face this kind of situation. you should speak up or those people will think you're minx or tacky girl.
love yourself , protect yourself & respect yourself. I get some ideas from what my teacher has said. I must set my own boundaries.
Besides, recently I am learning how to be a forgiving person. I am a Buddihist so one day my mum showed me an article about our religion. It is written " learn to be forgive and compromise with others because you won't lose anything but you will gain something in return"
I know what it means slowly...=)
